Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

The PTA body consists of elected parent members and teacher representatives for each class. This is a place where they discuss issues affecting students and put forth the suggestions of the group that they are representing and work in unison for the betterment of students.

Parent Orientation

Every year the parents of new students who seek admission are oriented to the school system, its management, the functioning of the school, its philosophy and concepts, the methodology followed in all sections, facilities and events etc. This gives clarity and makes parents familiar with the practices of the school and reduces anxiety and doubts.

Parent Teacher Meetings (PTM)

The Parent teacher meetings are a platform where the information on all activities of the school right from curriculum to events to student performance and behaviour is shared with the parents. PTMs take place minimum once a year for all classes from Nursery to Class X. The Principal, Head mistress and Class Teacher address the parents. Parent queries are addressed and answered.

Access Days

Access days take place twice a year where parents can meet teachers and avail information about what has happened in the unit. In the Pre-Primary and Primary section activities may be conducted to explain a concept or provide a platform for parents and their children to engage in an activity together and build a better bond. In the Secondary section, it is an opportunity for teachers and parents to discuss student issues and how each can contribute to the child’s welfare. Open House and Report Card days are held twice a year where the progress card is handed over to parents to inform them about the academic progress their ward is making.

Parent workshops

Parent workshops offer a platform where parents can discuss and learn about understanding and catering to the emotional and behavioral needs of children, parenting styles, life skills, coping with changes and taking care of their child’s safety. Our expert from our HRD Department conducts these workshops.

Information Cell

The coordinators of the Primary and Secondary sections are available to address parent queries on curriculum and student behaviour once a week. Parents can approach them at the time specified.

Grandparents Day

The Pre-Primary section invites grandparents to school and the Primary section conducts an activity in class to mark the Grandparents Day. The objective is to honor grandparents, acknowledge their efforts and help students become aware of importance of grandparents in the family.
